Superb hydration solution
I have two of these bladders, one in each of my packs. They are incredibly durable and easy to refill, even with the bladder still inside a hydration pouch. The mouthpiece and cap are easy to use one handed and there is no strange flavor from the bladder. About to buy a third 3L low profile for another pack of mine A+ product.

Great hydration setup for plate carrier cummerbund
I was looking for a hydration carrier that would not clutter up the back of my PC. This works perfect on the cummerbund under the arm. the bite valve and filling attachment is great. I really like this setup but one issue I have had is with leakage from the cap on the bladder, other than that the quality is great.

Hi James please get in touch with our Customer Service if you feel your product was not 100% ok on delivery! Leakage should definitely not be an issue with any SOURCE Hydration System. Thanks for your feedback!

Best bladder on the market
This is the best bladder on the market. The nalgene-compatible opening works perfectly with filters, and the main opening makes it easy to clean and dry out, or scoop up water if you're using chemical purification. And no, bladder material doesn't impart a flavor like that of camelbaks.

Honestly, I'm lukewarm on the accessories, since the magnet isn't strong enough to hold the hose snug to the curve of my shoulder strap, and the UTA only helps if you fill your bladder from a tap, rather than wild water.

Thanks for your in-depth feedback, James! One detail: The UTA works also super fast and convenient with bottles, that is, refilling the hydration system from a bottled drink/water. I.e. picking one up at a rest-stop / aid-station in a competition and being able to re-fuel your hydration system without taking your pack off.

Flexible, but needs options of tube length
I like the concept of this, but often choose other options because the tube length is weird. It always seems like I have too much hose with both hoses, and not enough with just the 6" section on the adapter.

It would get a lot more use if there was a cut to length hose kit, or at least some options for length, so I could have the right setup for whichever pack I'm using.

With our SQC Kit you're free to cut drinking tubes to any length - and connect it with the SQC. Order it online on our Outdoor site: https://sourceoutdoor.com/en/source-accessories/15-sqc-source-quick-connect-hydration
An excellent hydration system
I have been using this for about a year without issue and in fact, have purchased 3 more for rest of my family. This bladder is industrial strength and easy to clean. Works great in the summer and fall in the northeastern US. I use the Tube Insulator from Source Outdoor in the winter as the tube/ bite valve freezes in very cold winter conditions here. Recently purchased the Universal Tube Adapter (UTA) that I plan to pare with a Katadyn BeFree water filter hydrapak to conveniently refill the bladder without having to remove it from my pack.

The best valve
The higher flow is worth the minor hassle of a push/pull. The locking mechanism isn't my favorite since it's easy to spin the mouthpiece without locking or unlocking it, but you only need to lock it for shipping or transport. Typically, closing the valve and putting the dust cap on is more than secure enough.

Have it, tried it, never use it.
The magnet isn't strong enough to hold stiff source tactical hoses snug to the curve of my shoulder strap.

Just use a grimlock, carabiner, or bungee tie and accept that the rest of the hose will stick out a bit. The stiff hoses generally stay out of the way anyhow.

Hi James, thanks for your feedback, just one remark from our developers: the Magnetic Clip is designed to hold the drinking valve in place, to provide easy one-hand access whenever you want a sip, no dealing with clips and hooks and stuff. It's not designed for the routing of the drinking tube itself from the pack forward.

Tres utile !!
Très utile pour garder le tuyau toujours à portée de main sans qu'il ne soit gênant dans les mouvements, dans la marche. Part contre attention de ne pas perdre le clip .. déjà perdu une fois ...

Better than CamelBak and Pig
Received mine from Israel promptly and wow can I say that this is by far the best low-pro pouch out here. Perhaps you may fine smaller ones out there but the size, quality, and fact that this thing carries 3L of water is absolutely perfect for guys with minimalistic plate carriers as well as guys running a ruck or large pack on top of it. Quick removal tabs are a nice touch as well, buy now and save your money from making a mistake elsewhere.

Very convenient tool
This little device let's you keep your bladder in your pack when refilling, which is not only convenient but also very expedient. I use this attached to my personal water filter to fill the bladder directly with clean water without ever taking my pack off. Awesome!

High quality
Very impressed with this valve. I have been searching for a no bite valve for some time and this one meets all my needs. I also appreciate that it is a color that blends well with my camouflage.

Source Replacement Tube
I really like that the plastic tube does not have the plastic taste that so often happens from inferior quality products. The insulation around the tube also works great for late season hunts in the mountains in Montana where I live and also any winter activities that I do.

Great product
This is amazing. I use this with my camelback. Not having to pull it out of my fire pack is amazing. The rest of the crew is picking them up as well

Brilliant Product!
I had stayed away from using water bladders for years mainly because of the inconvenience of refilling them. You know...open the pack, take out the bladder. unscrew the top, spill water all over your stuff while refilling it, and then do it all in reverse to get back on the rail again. Who needs that grief?

Then I found the UTA...all problems solved and inconvenience eliminated. This is one of the truly useful products for anyone who needs to carry water wherever they go. And the pouch for it attaches to the outside of your pack if you want it to be super convenient. Buy this product and spend your time enjoying the outdoors rather than laboring fill your water bladder to stay hydrated.

Excellent Gear
I recently bought a storm valve kit to replace my old one. After 5 years of use, my old valve had begun to split and I couldn't get good suction. I really like that I can open and close the valve without touching it with my hands, as my hands are often very dirty. I also really appreciate the cover over the mouthpiece because, again, I'm often in very dirty places. It's extremely practical and user-friendly. I have used the Assault10 for about 5 years and it is, hands down, the best backpack/hydration pack I have ever used. I've found all Source equipment to be extremely high quality. People around me with other brands of backpacks or hydration systems often comment on how well-made mine is compared to theirs.

Source make the best quality bladder systems I've seen, much, much better than anything I can get locally. This model is good value and tough, and I expect to get a lot of use out of it. Only issue I have with this, is that I had to trim the sliding-lock to fit properly - though that was easy and everything works well. Customer service is also good, and even shipping from the other side of the world, this is great value for money.

Hi Duncan, thanks for your feedback, happy to hear you appreciate our SOURCE Hydration Systems! Not sure what you mean exactly with trimming the sliding-lock but happy you managed to resolve it with our Customer Service.

I have mine in my plate carrier, coming out the left, looping under my neck area, and clipped to my right shoulder. I'm a medic and always carry an aid bag and an M4 with sling which is taken on and off on a regular basis during training. The one major downside I have so far is the drinking nozzle keeps popping off on it's own. I nearly lost the nozzle during a night op. This is because the button that must be pressed is not recessed under the side plastic edges to protect it from accidentally being pressed in by gear being constantly removed and shifted around. Also the button only needs to be very slightly depressed for the nozzle to be removed. Everything else about the system is great, especially the UTA which works great. If the design team can make the edges around the button taller and require the button be fully depressed to release then the issue would be fixed.

Got this pack about one year ago, definitely one of the best I ever owned.

Been up to the Swedish mountains for a four day tour, the pack weight was approx. 60 pounds (27kg) starting out.
No problem what so ever handling the weight, easy access to the things in the pack.

I've used a lot of backpacks both civilian and issued ones, this is by far one of the best so far.

Easy access to the compartments, strong and sturdy zippers, and a good over all feel to it.

The only thing I would have wanted was that the reservoir would have been a low profile instead of the standard one.

For my use and in my opinion the best backpack you can buy, especially considering the price.

The Source Tactical 95L+ Pack is the most comfortable pack I have ever put on my back. Superb quality and incredibly adjustable to any body type. This pack literally becomes part of your body. It seems the heavier it is packed the more comfortable it gets. I love this pack!!.
